| John Lautner (1911-1994) was a foremost American architect who got his training with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesen and is considered one of Wright’s Foremost successful graduates. His Chemosphere house in Los Angelese was used in the film Body Double and his Palm Springs Elrod Resident was used in the 1971 James Bond film, Diamonds are Forever. He designed the Bob Hope residence and his Malibu Carbon Beach home, owned by Courtney Cox, sold a few years ago for $33.5 million. |
