Men’s Basketball
When the UWF Basketball Team left to play in South Africa in March 1973, it was a stunning display to the Apartheid government and for many spectators in South Africa, the first time they had seen a racially-mixed sports team play in their country. In a small way, UWF helped contribute to cultural change in an international setting. |
